This set of custom cupcake boxes for Manhattan Fruitier was developed for their mail-order line of High Hat Cupcakes. Prominent coloration shows how a simple uncoated paper on a base and lid construction can nevertheless yield a superlative package.

The base and lid structure distinguishes these custom cupcake boxes from the average pastry packaging. A unique pinstripe embossing on the lid relays a feeling more familiar to a department store than a bakery, indicating the quality of the product within. Silver foil stamping rounds out the design, providing the necessary branding touchpoints for the packaging.  While the package can be utilized in various ways – a paperboard insert that stabilizes and keeps 6 cupcakes secure for transport fits into the base.

The vibrant colors come thanks to our friends at Ecological Fibers, who provide rich dyed-through papers manufactured with minimal environmental impact. Rainbow paper in Fuchsia and Meadow exemplify the power of a deliberate color scheme, and that compelling decoration does not have to come from complicated graphics.
