Neurometrix / Quell Pain Relief
A Paper Hinged box with identical base and lid yields additional space and elegant symmetry in this rigid box. A packaging redesign for the Quell device from Neurometrix, an medical technology company out of MIT, this retail box needed to communicate information, expertise and value to shoppers looking for a trustworthy pain management device. Outfitted with a custom vacuum formed insert to hold the device and print collateral, the hinged action of the box was fun to open and the hidden lifted panels were engaging. Wrapped and lined with premium soft-touch Mano from Neenah paper, this package felt premium. Finally, the two toned logo was expertly printed with pad printing to achieve the perfectly crisp alignment of white and blue without distracting trapping.

Every holiday season we send a special package to our network of partners, celebrating the past year and offering best wishes in the year to come. We also pair it with a donation to a philanthropy in honor of our clients and vendors.
This past year, in honor of the National Parks centennial, we created a 100% recyclable box to hold a letter-pressed plantable wildflower seed paper.
This 'Drawer Box,' or Tray in a Slipcase style construction, was made of 100% recycled chip board wrapped in various shades of Rainbow 70 paper by Ecological Fibers. The bellyband, made of 80# text weight FSC certified Curious from Mohawk Paper, provided the 'gift wrap.'
All decoration was accomplished with foil stamping.

KIND Bars / Kind Bars Media Kit
This Tray with a 3 Panel Lid style package features incredible printing from partner Hub Folding Box. A simple lined, scored and folded board insert held samples of KIND Bars new flavors for this media kit, which introduced the products to editors and influencers in the health food and family snack industry. Held shut with a secure, reclosable Dual Lock fastener from 3M, an economic alternative to a magnet closure, the stand out feature of this box is the all over wood grain print. Simple, on-trend and so essentially "KIND."

Parlor Coffee / Limited Release Coffee Box
Parlor Coffee is no ordinary coffee company. Sourcing their beans from global and sustainable growers, roasting with adaptive precision and doing it all with an artists eye, Parlor Coffee's mission is to "source and roast coffees with character." For their limited release of an Ethiopian heirloom varietal from the Illubabor forest, cultivated in the Gesha Village, that distinct character is embodied elegantly in this Base and Lid Box with an Insert.
The stand out element of this structurally simple package are the beautiful graphics. The fine lines of the floral illustration were accomplished through silk screen, with an ink to match the wrap color of the box base. The geometric lines and logo were printed in gold foil. Made with black chipboard and wrapped in sustainably produced Rainbow70 paper from Ecological Fibers, this box is fully recyclable.
Not only is this box eye-catching for merchandising purposes or product photography, it elevates the bag of coffee beans to new heights as a gift or keepsake.

Nike / Nike Kyrie 2 "Duke QS" Seed Kit
2016 NBA Champion Kyrie Irving has enjoyed a successful shoe collaboration with Nike since December 2014, which soared again this year with the release of dozens of new, inspired colorways. To celebrate his time on the court at Duke University, Kyrie came up with a Duke spirited issue of his Kyrie 2, released this past March.
The first pairs went to Kyrie, Coach K and other VIPs in a personally labeled commemorative rigid box, by Portfoliobox, a Taylor Box Company brand. Made entirely by hand, the first edition was followed by another set of seed kits with the Nike logo in the place of the individual names.
Framed in Bass wood, this Tray in a Slipcase, or Drawer Box, style rigid box is a beautiful meditation in material; the heft of the natural wood imparts the gravity and singular nature of the shoe inside. The coordinated blue book cloth, imported from Italy, and the blue Oasis Goatskin from Great Britain stand out vibrantly against the gold metallic foil stamping of the logo trifecta: Kyrie Irving x Nike x Duke. A powerhouse collaboration. To drive it all home, the inside of the box is lined with genuine parquet basketball court flooring.

The Vine is the creative brainchild of Bryce Vann Brock and Kelly Revels, offering a the blossoming trifecta of Landscape Design services, Event Planning services and a Garden Market with online retail. This Base and Lid with a Neck Tray style set-up package is a simple, elegant gift box for in-store and online succulent plants.
Designed to hold their many variable height succulent plants, this simple box has some hidden highlights.
First, the undecorated base with neck tray can be used as an alternative table-top container for the plant for customers who prefer the classic white to the clear planter.
Second, in keeping with the green ethos of The Vine, this package is 100% recyclable! Furthermore, its made with FSC certified paperboard and paper. Hard for some to believe, but luxury can be sustainable with material choices like Rainbow70 embossed paper from Ecological Fibers.
And finally, the neck tray can be removed from the base and combined with the lid to form an entirely separate Base and Lid package. Modular designs like this can help small businesses amortize the cost of premium packaging across a their range of product offerings.
Phaidon Press / Gracespace Portfolio
Grace Coddington is best known as the influential creative director of American Vogue with an iconic shock of orange-copper hair. More recently, Grace has explored the whimsical side of her creativity through illustrations of her cats. Phaidon Press released this limited edition collection of 10 archival prints by Grace, sold online through Artspace. This base and lid style box with an extended edge was designed as a playful alternative to a traditional portfolio, complete with ribbon lift for easy removal of prints. Evocative of a candy box, it is wrapped in Neenah Classic Crest digitally printed with Grace's illustrations.

Happy Family Brands
This elegant and surprising set up rigid box manufactured by Taylor Box Company was designed by creative agency Madwell for their client Happy Family®. A Base and Lid construction with a two piece board insert, this delightful media kit was sent to "traditional media outlets to communicate the transparent sourcing story behind Happy Family's innovative Clearly Crafted see-through pouches." Featuring Mano soft touch paper and Multicolor® embossed paper, both from Neenah, the simple white lid lifted to reveal a bounty of colorful graphics and the products. Print collateral was deftly concealed within the folded board insert, and the base insert secured the Happy Baby pouches to prevent movement during transit. A beautifully designed and executed brand touchpoint for announcing the new product.

The print steals the day in this luxe candle box for fashion brand Escada! The European women's designer clothing company released this limited edition Mother's Day candle box with eye-catching print to captivate buyers in store.
The Base and Lid with a Neck Tray style construction features an exterior wrap of all-over floral pattern printed 4-Color Process with a Satin coating on Premier Linen White 70# text, and a simple gold metallic foil stamp. The inverted neck tray is flood coat printed to match PMS. The construction is actually two identical trays that meet flush in the middle using the support of the exposed and inverted diecut neck tray; an economical and stylish construction for the right product.
Nike / KD9 Limited Edition Kit
This Base and Lid with a Neck Tray package has a secret; it is also a keepsake framed photograph! Created in collaboration with R/GA for Nike, this limited edition kit held one of a selection of beautiful black-and-white photographic prints of Kevin Durant in the lid. Professionally mounted with 4-ply matte board and rigged with hanging ribbon on the back, the proportions of the lid were designed to imitate a traditional frame so fans could hang it as soon as they got home. The exterior wrap is a coated book cloth for longevity, and each framed picture had a customer supplied sticker on the inside to confirm authenticity.
HBO / HBO "Game of Thrones"
Winter is Coming. This sensational VIP kit from HBO won Best in Show for Rigid Packaging at the Paperboard Packaging Council awards in 2015.
A 2 three-sided hinged construction, featuring an inner tray resting on two ribbons that lifts when the box is opened, and held shut with hidden closure magnets. This influencer kit contained a custom engraved iPad and Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, held in a die-cut insert covered in black satin. The inner and outer wrap were debossed and hot-stamped for a continuous graphic appearance.
Designtex / Designtex Display Binder
Taylor Box Company made this custom printed binder for Designtex, a leading design manufacturer of textiles, wallcovering and other applied materials. The 3 Ring Binder held swatch materials from Designtex portfolio. The cover wrap and was offset printed with matte film lamination for a stylish, soft look. There was also a vinyl business card pocket adhered to the inside cover of the binder, allowing for easy access to contact information for Designtex's clients.

Visionary fashion designer Thakoon Panichigul lent his talents in the form of two mens' neckties sold by the Whitney Museum to assist in their fundraising effort. The floral and geometric patterned ties were presented in a Taylor made Base and Lid box with decorative printed wraps indicating the pattern on the tie inside; one black geometric, the other the same floral design worn by First Lady Michelle Obama when she gave an address at the opening of the new Museum location. The base was wrapped in a black soft touch Nuba, and the lid in 80# text printed with 4-Color process and finished with overall satin aqueous coating. A stunning example illustrating the power of elegant graphics against a classic construction.

This classic and stately Tray in a 3 Panel Folder style box was created for Century 21 Real Estate. Wrapped in Black and White Skivertex, a Neenah Paper product, the cover and insert sheet were decorated with both silkscreen and foil stamping techniques. The Tray held an iPad and sell sheet- a premium presentation for a premium offer from Century 21 Real Estate.

Raw Spirit's perfume inspired by the "intoxicating scent of the Western Australian outback in the intense heat of summer" lives up to its rustic and powerful name in this elegant Tray in a Sleeve Box. With a tray and insert made of 100% recycled fiber board, wrapped in a 100% recycled paper from Mohawk Paper, this package is 85% recycled fiber by weight. The sleeve is made of SBS lined with shimmering Lumineer by Holliston and foil stamped.

For this commemorative edition celebrating the 15th anniversary, traditionally considered the 'crystal anniversary', Hearst, Swarovski and A Marcus Group teamed up to bring readers a crystal-studded limited edition box set.
The Tray in a Three Panel Folder, also known as a Book-Style box, was wrapped in Reich Paper in the shine silver finish. The magazine was placed inside a wrapped frame with a green grosgrain ribbon lift for ease of removal. The outer and inner panel showcase a shiny rainbow foil stamping to reflect the crystal anniversary.

Each day, more than 600 million men around the world trust their faces and skin to Gillette’s innovative razors and shaving products. Enough said! When Gillette introduces a breakthrough shaving system it is done with an eye to a global audience and on a multitude of platforms/channels. Gillette's agency designed this package in collaboration with the studio at Taylor Box Company where it was produced, packed out and shipped to 900 celebrities, editors, media professionals and other influencers.

Artistic Tile offers a variety of specialty tile and natural stone products, including custom design services that are utilized by residences, hotels, resorts, restaurants, shopping destinations, cruise lines, spas, and so on. Taylor Box produced these sophisticated Tray in a Slipcase boxes that feature a simplistic gold foil stamp with a gold ribbon to accessorize. This custom box houses a noteworthy edition of Artistic Tiles renowned product.

For the first illustrated autobiography of one of the founders of interior design, only a stylish and protective Slipcase would do. Sought after by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Andy Warhol, Jacqueline Onassis, and Marlene Dietrich, Rose Cumming was famed for her flamboyant interiors and blending of contrasting aesthetics from gothic to baroque to oriental. Written by Jeffery Simpson, renowned author and editor of Architectural Digest, this heirloom edition was sold in a paperboard slipcase wrapped in Sierra. The elegant natural fabric cover was embellished with a clear foil stamp on both sides.

This direct mail piece for the sales force at Footboy was a simple Base and Lid construction but amped up the design with a continuous 4 color printing across base and lid for an all over effect when closed.

The Clamshell box held a custom spinner inside to predict your future (don't worry, they were all good!). The outside wrap features raised UV coating, as does the inside spinner panel, with two color hot stamping on the inside lid. The box also contained a season's greetings letter hot stamped on vellum.

An infinitely deep matte black crisply stamped with the brand graphics opens to a bright red "dart" memory stick held in high tech cross-link foam. So, when it was time for SONY to publish a limited edition of her 25 top recordings in a classic record case presentation, each in its own individual "jacket"; the project managers came to Taylor Box Company. We managed this project; collaborated on design refinement which continued to evolve right up to the last moment before production and delivered a flawless, timely outcome.

THE BALVENIE is single malt from Scotland that is self described as "unlike all other single malt Scotch whiskies, thanks to a unique combination of human craft and natural alchemy" and this limited edition gift set was designed to be graphically muted so that the brand would stand alone.
Swiss Army / Swiss Army Casino Royale
The Swiss Army knife, like a Swiss movement watch, is the definition of precision design and manufacturing. The Casino Royale edition is a limited edition of one of the signature versions of the knife family and the creative brief called for a clean design that would present the knife in a premium way. To accomplish this, the package design called for a hidden magnetic closure, premium Fibermark covering and sculpted black cross-linked microcell foam to hold the knife.

UVEX / Uvex Ignite
The world’s top selling protective eyewear brand, Uvex has been an acknowledged leader in safety eyewear innovation for more than fifty years. In 2007, they approached Taylor Box wanting to design a promotional package that would represent their sleek addition to its line of premium safety eyewear, the Uvex Ignite. Taylor Box then created a printed specialty diecut package that was as lightweight and boldly styled as the eyewear it packages.

Coach is a leading American designer and maker of luxury lifestyle handbags and accessories. During the last decade, Coach has emerged as America’s preeminent designer, producer and marketer of fine accessories and gifts for women and men including handbags, business cases, luggage and travel accessories, wallets, outerwear, eyewear, gloves, scarves, fragrance and fine jewelry. Continued development of new categories has further established the signature style and distinctive identity of the Coach brand. Taylor Box created a package to hold four Coach nail polishes that would be given out as a free gift in stores to customers who made a purchase during the holiday season.

To be sure that each guest has the same high quality experience, a package reflecting the brand standards for linens was created and distributed across all of the Wyndam properties. Designed to tell the story and illustrate the brand values with actual samples of the linens; it is a very accessable reference for hotel managment at all levels.

Our marketing message to the nation’s design community: think about The Curve as a design element in your next premium packaging project. We invited the design community at the 2012 Boston HOW Design Conference to begin the process with a promotion entitled “The Curve Project”. Designers were invited to visit www.thecurveproject.info and then stop by the Taylor Box Company booth to pick up their “Curve Kit” and they did in record numbers; collecting over 1,000 kits in the first 40 minutes after the doors opened. Our invitation to doodle a curve idea using the kit’s contents was equally successful with close to 500 designers putting colored pencil to paper and submitting their creations. Message delivered!

More recently, Condé Nast has expanded its offerings to include marketing services and consumer-focused products such as apps and licensed merchandise. Condé Nast International Ltd., which publishes international editions of the U.S. titles, was incorporated in 2005. This division publishes more than 126 magazines and 104 websites, representing 24 markets around the globe. For their holiday, Taylor Box created a package for them to hold a set of their holiday cards to be sent to their partners and clients.

They started as a storefront in 1971 in Portland, Oregon and have since grown to five locations and one of the book world’s most successful dot-coms, serving customers worldwide. Powell’s also created “Indiespensable”, a subscription club designed to deliver the best new books, with special attention to independent publishers. Every six weeks another installment of signed first editions, inventive, original sets or exclusive printings to read and admire are sent out to subscribers in their own Taylor Box specialty packaging.

A Clamshell style box created for AAA Northeast for their 2015 Employee Appreciation gift, a custom keychain. The simple style was embellished with multi-color foil stamping and a card insert celebrating the Employees' success in garnering 5 million members.
