This successful, unique safety glasses box was created for the promotional launch for UVEX’s Ignite line.
The world’s top-selling protective eyewear brand, Uvex, has been a respected leader in safety eyewear innovation for more than fifty years. In 2007, they approached Taylor Box to design a promotional package that would represent the latest addition to their line of premium safety eyewear, the Uvex Ignite.
Taylor Box created a specialty die-cut packaging safety glasses box for Uvex that was as bold and stylish as the eyewear it contained. The custom box was decorated using 4-Color print process with an overall matte UV coating for a convincing rendering of match sticks on the side panels and crisp text on the front panel of the box.
This highly creative safety glasses box is an excellent example of the power of custom packaging. Leveraging the design of a classic match stick box, Uvex achieves a singular packaging experience that communicates its promotional intent.
