Happy New Year!
Can you believe we just closed out on another year? Time seems to blend as we find ourselves still in challenging times. That means we need to do our best to focus on the positive as we continue to head towards the light in the tunnel.
First and foremost, the Taylor Box Family wants to thank you for continuing to be our fans and supporters so that we can continue on our box-making mission. Because of folks like yourselves, we had so many great things happen in 2021 that we wanted to share.
So what were the highlights of 2021, and what do we have in store for 2022?

This year we were awarded Best In Show for Rigid Packaging by the Paperboard Packaging Council. Known as the Grammies of the Packaging Industry, the Cincoro Tequila packaging project really stood out. > read more

We were over the moon this year about taking home our first Dieline award!
This one-of-a-kind influencer keepsake piece for Adidas celebrated the 50th anniversary of the classic Superstar Sneaker and paid homage to the infamous hip-hop group RUN DMC.

98% Vaccinated
We are incredibly proud of our team for their commitment to following so many ever-changing complex safety protocols over the last few years.
Despite all the inconveniences and stress of so many new rules to follow, the team really stepped up and worked together. We gave everyone the option to vaccinate, but we offered any support in helping to find a location and offering transportation if they needed it. 98% chose to vaccinate.
Because of our team's commitment to each other and the company we never had to shut down our shop. Thank you to everyone on our team.
#1 in Safety for Rigid Box Shops in US
Turns out we've been knocking it out of the park this year with our OSHA Incident rate. In the latest report from the Paperboard Packaging Council's Safety Box Score report (November 2021) Taylor Box Company was #1 for the PaperBoard Packaging Councils Hours w/o an OSHA recordable incident!
Never Can Say Goodbye
Our CFO, Patricia Lidell has decided that it is time for her to embark on her next journey called retirement. After 30 years of being our President's rights hand woman, the organization's Controller, Quoter, Human Resources and 5 Star Party planner, and at one time our Production Manager, we say our fond farewells.
Instead of focusing on numbers, Pat will focus her time on things like boating, fishing, and spending time in Marco Island with her husband Jim. She'll also have longer visits with her 3 sons and 5 grandchildren in England and New England. And she plans to experience new creative and learning adventures to find new passions.
Thank you for all of your years of helping our organization charge through challenging times and for being behind so many of our many successes over the years.

What can't we say about this adorable fluff ball? Look at that face! He is only a few months old and has won over everyone's heart. He is currently in training to be a shop dog. Next week he's learning to foil stamp.

Manufacturer of the Year
On February 15th Taylor Box Company will be recognized by Rhode Island Manufacturing Association at their Annual Awards Dinner. This award recognizes local manufacturers for their contribution to the growth and success of manufacturing in Rhode Island.

Unified Wine And Grape Symposium
Our Sales Leader Julianne Lefebvre and Project Manager Victoria Reed headed off to Sacramento to attend the Unified Wine and Grape Symposium. Packed full of every type of supplier to the wine industry, we showcased our wine and spirit projects. We have been honored to work with folks like Wente, Cincoro, Goslings, Glenmoragie, Jubaea and many others to create product packaging, influencer kits, menus for wineries, special/limited editions, and sales and marketing kits. Several of these wine and spirits-related projects have won us awards - including Rigid Box of the Year from the Paperboard Packaging Council.
