Like so many other manufacturers, Taylor Box has been doing our best to safely continue operations at our facility. We can always count on the dedication and cooperation of our staff in solving problems, and in some respects, this outbreak has only reinforced the unity of our company.
But confronting the challenges of the Coronavirus Outbreak was something that not even our experienced team could accomplish alone. So, in order to help protect our staff and to prevent COVID-19 transmission, we enlisted the help of Rhode Island textile makers Propel LLC.
Propel LLC is a Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based manufacturer carrying on the quality work and innovation that once made the Southern New England region famous for its textiles. The woman-owned company specializes in producing cutting-edge garment technologies for fire departments and the US military.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Propel got to work developing reusable cloth face masks using Rhode Island-made metal, elastic, and fabric. Always eager to keep things local, even in the midst of a pandemic, we found Propel LLC and knew that their products were the perfect solution to our challenges. After placing our order, the masks were distributed to our employees.
We’re always proud to source the materials for our operational needs locally, even in turbulent times. Thanks to the work of Propel LLC, our staff is fully outfitted and safer than ever.
