This month’s featured Box of the Month is a direct mail custom presentation box developed by FootJoy in collaboration with the design studio at TaylorBox. FootJoy, founded in 1857, is the longstanding leader in the golf shoe product category and one of the iconic golf brands of the Acushnet Company, makers of Titleist. FootJoy is known for delivering superior fit, comfort, stability and performance.
This custom presentation box was shipped around the world to different media outlets to encourage them to “Step Into the Next Big Thing” with this presentation kit developed by Taylor Box. The promotion focused on features and benefits to the HyperFlex shoe including innovative materials like the new FlexGrid 2.0 exoskeleton upper and SoftSpike tornado cleats.
The presentation kit was wrapped in a 4-color process print with satin aqueous coating. Precision wrapping and alignment were keys to its high-impact, visual effect. An SBS insert mirrored the external wrap and included selling features of the shoe.
While this teaser campaign introduced Hyperflex to the golf world they were so effective that the sales team utilized them again in their presentations to FootJoy customers and prospects!
