This year, our friends at AIGA, the professional association for design, turned 100! Happy Birthday! When we turned 100, over 25 years ago, we didn’t recieve a birthday card, but we’re sure it’s in the mail.
Just kidding! But we’re also happy to announce that AIGA Rhode Island will be will be hosting the first in a series of “in-house” manufacturingtour at our custom box making facility in Warren Rhode Island.
If you are an AIGA member, or work as a professional designer, and if you ever wondered where those custom boxes for Gilette, Balvenie, Game of Thrones and the rest of the gang come from, you’re invited to see where the magic happens!
The event will take place on November 5th from 6-8pm. You’ll get a chance to meet Dan Shedd, president, and Julie Passey, director of design, engineering and package development, who will be giving tours of our box manufacturing facilities.
AIGA Rhode Island even has some pretty good reasons for wanting to start the series at Taylor Box:
“Taylor Box has had an uncompromising commitment to creating client packaging that is a focused expression of both the strategic purpose behind the package and the essence of their brand. This award-winning company has a 125 year tradition of creating challenging and successful projects and they’re right here in the smallest town, in the smallest county, in the smallest state in the union. And we want you to know about them!”
Aw, shucks, thanks AIGA Rhode Island!
We can’t wait to meet you. The event is FREE for AIGA members and just $10 for non-members.
If you want to come, register now. We can’t wait to meet you!
