When HBO wanted to make a big impact for it's upcoming season of the hit series Game of Thrones, they created this one of a kind press kit.

The Box Beyond the Wall! This rigid box packaging for HBO’s Game of Thrones was developed as part of a mailing campaign to promote an upcoming season of the hit show. It’s one of our best press kits.

The base and lid design are wrapped in a special mrigid box packaging mylar material depicting scenes of Wildlings marching through the frozen wastelands of Westeros. The icy theme is echoed in the phrase “Winter Can Last a Lifetime” printed on the lid of the box.

A raised UV coating gives the Game of Thrones and HBO logos an extra level of prominence in the packaging experience. This decorative technique is not only visual but tactile- able to be appreciated as it’s seen as much as it’s touched.  Inside this beautiful box was a GOT branded blanket to keep you warm when winter arrives.

This rigid box packaging is remarkable for its rich printed wrap and its durable, rigid structure, all of which are crucial factors in making the best press kits. But in terms of this press kit’s effectiveness, it certainly doesn’t hurt that the design features characters from the biggest television series in history.
